Hilton High School jazz musician
selected to attend GRAMMY Awards

Hilton High School senior Nick Finzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck and Sherry Finzer, will be traveling to Los Angeles next month to participate in the GRAMMY High School Jazz Ensemble. Selected as one of 29 high school musicians from across the country, Finzer is a trombonist and will perform in an 18-member jazz band during the February 5-13 GRAMMY Awards. In addition, he will perform at other venues in the Los Angeles area and will record an album at Columbia Records.

Finzer is a member of the Eastman Youth Jazz Orchestra. Hilton High School's music program was selected as one of 100 finalists in the GRAMMY Signature School competition in 2004.
