Village elections set for March

Individuals interested in tossing their hats into the political arena for village elections still have time to pick up petitions and get them signed.

Elections for the villages of Bergen, Churchville, Hilton, Holley and Spencerport are slated for March 15.

Available seats for the villages are:

• Bergen - a one year mayoral term and one three-year trustee term;
• Churchville - two four-year term trustee seats;
• Hilton - one trustee position for a one-year term;
• Holley - three trustee positions; one for one year, two for two-year terms;
• Spencerport - a three year mayoral term and two four-year trustee seats.

Petitions can be turned in no earlier than February 1 and no later than February 8.
