High number in survey favor Hamlin Community Center
The Hamlin Community Center Exploratory Committee members report that they were impressed with the number of surveys that were returned. Totals exceeded the expectations for a survey of the kind circulated to residents, according to committee members.
A preliminary review of the data shows that 74 percent of the respondents support the need for a community center. The committee must now perform a detailed analysis of the returns and will give a report to the town board when that study is complete.
The committee invites new members to help in their efforts. Call Diane Hennekey at 659-2875 or Monica Seely at 964-5806 if interested in serving.
