Spencerport soccer player plans to
continue career at Syracuse University

Samantha Hawn signed a Division I NCAA letter of intent with Syracuse University, a member of the Big East to continue her soccer career.

Hawn has been a member of the Rangers Varsity Girls Soccer team for the last three years and reached the Class A Sectional Finals this past season. She has been first team All County the past two years and has been coached at Spencerport by Jamie Schneider. She also is a member of the Rangers Girls Volleyball team and has been a member of the All Greater Rochester Soccer Team.

Hawn, who also considered University at Massachusetts, University at Vermont and Fordham, will major in physical education.
