Bright Raven Gymnastics boys earn medals

Bright Raven Gymnastics boys team competed in a USA Gymnastics Chill-Out Challenge Invitational January 30 at the Gymnastic Training Center in Penfield earning many medals.

Kevin Kirkland of Greece captured first place in three events in the Level 7 competition for gymnasts age 12 and over. He won floor exercise (8.90), rings (8.90) and vault (9.50).

Competing at Level 6 in the 10-11 age division, John Fitzgerald of Churchville earned third place on high bar (8.10) and third place on pommel horse.

In the Level 4 competition for ages 10-11, Nathan Daniels of Churchville earned second place all around (50.40). He was also first on rings (9.30), first on vault (9.20), second on floor (8.50) and second on pommel horse (8.00). Evan Gooding of Spencerport competed in the 12 and over division earning first place on high bar (8.60) and second place on floor exercise (8.30), rings (9.00) and pommel horse. In the 8-9 age division, Luke Pavone of Chili earned third place on rings (9.25).
