The storyline of this hit Broadway musical of the 50's revolves around Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him. The next girl he sees happens to be Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart Salvation Army-type reformer, and the stage is set for a hilarious evening of complications. Nathan Detroit has been engaged to Miss Adelaide, a performer at the Hot Box Club for the past 14 years. Nathan Detroit will be played by senior Ryan Bedard while the part of Miss Adelaide will be played by senior Lauren Zona. Sophomore Eric Waples will play Sky Masterson and senior Amanda Plucknette has been cast in the role of Sarah Brown. The production is co-directed by Vladimir Stefanovic and Ann Murphy and produced by Terry Hedges. John Viavattine will be directing the orchestra.
