Springdale Farm seeks volunteers

Volunteer opportunities are being offered at Springdale Farm. Approximately 40 volunteers are needed in four areas: educational guides, gift shop associates, administrative assistants and gardeners. All opportunities are available Monday through Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. year round. Experience is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided for each position.

As an educational guide, volunteers will provide scripted tours for schools and community groups. Gift shop associates will run the register, monitor inventory and assist customers. People who are comfortable with answering phones, scheduling tours and other administrative duties are needed for the volunteer administrative assistant position. The Gardens of Springdale need people interested in weeding, planting flowers and assisting in the greenhouse.
