Day trips and programs for Chili seniors
The Chili Senior Center will be offering a number of day trips for Senior Citizens age 55 and over who are residents of the Town of Chili.
Upcoming trips are: Tuesday, May 24, Mystery Trip; Wednesday, June 29, The Stardust Follies in Brantford, Ontario; Friday, July 22, "Boogie Woogie" Luncheon Cruise, Watkins Glen; Wednesday, August 17, "Beauty and the Beast," Auburn; Wednesday, October 5, Fall Foliage in the Adirondacks in Old Forge; Wednesday, December 14, Christmas with the Four Lads, in Buffalo. Tuesday Talks - educational and interesting presentations each Tuesday at 11 a.m. A guest speaker will be featured each week. Coffee provided. There is no charge to participate. The center is located at 3235 Chili Avenue. Low Cost In-Home Repair - a presentation given by Joe Grant from The Catholic Family Center discussing low cost in-home repair services available to seniors, Thursday, March 10 at 12:30 p.m. (after lunch). Call the center at 889-6185 to register.
Foot care - offered the third Thursday of each month. Half-hour appointments are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Call the office at 889-6185 to schedule an appointment. Participants should bring their own basin and towel. The cost is $15. The next appointments are on Thursday, March 17.
Massage - appointments with a licensed massage therapist offered twice a month. Next dates are Thursday mornings March 24 and April 14. Appointments are either 15 or 30 minutes in length. First 15 minute intro appointment is $10; 15 minute appointment is $15, and a 30 minute appointment is $25. Gift certificates are available. To schedule an appointment, call 889-6185.
