Lake Ridge Gobblers give scholarship
Recipient of the Lake Ridge Gobblers 3rd annual local scholarship award is Dustin Hartman (l), presented by Duey Marshall (r), the local chapter vice president. This year's NWTF $250 scholarship award was awarded to Hartman, a senior at Brockport High School and a resident of Hamlin. Dustin holds a valid NYS hunting license and has met certain academic requirements to be eligible for the award. In attendance with Dustin were his parents, Chuck and MaryAnn Knapp and his grandparents, Fay and Sheri Knapp. Dustin will now be eligible to move into the state level. If selected he can win additional awards up to $1,500 for first place. If Dustin wins first place he will then move up to the nationals with a chance to win a scholarship worth $10,000.
