Boater safety course offered

Learn how to boat safely with this eight-hour safe boating course taught by the United States Coast Guard. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate and ID card will be issued. This course also qualifies PWC (jet ski) operators 10 years and older to operate legally in New York state.

The course will be offered by Hilton Parma Recreation May 14 and May 21 (attendance both days is mandatory), 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. $20 for one person, $25 for two in the same family. Call 392-9030 with questions.
