Chili Fire Auxiliary celebrates anniversary

Members of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Chili Fire Department celebrated its 60th anniversary. Twelve past presidents were in attendance and new officers for 2005 were honored. Gloria Nyhan is president for a second term with Debra Sibbald as her vice president. Deanna Reber is treasurer for another term and Sandi Wood was installed as secretary. Directors include Lelia Miner, Lynne Welch, Grace Sibbald and Carol Guelzow. Immediate past president Deborah Chrysler was named a life member for 20 years of membership.

Other longevity awards went to Gloria Nyhan and Kandi Van Duzer for 15 years; Karen Roy, Debra Sibbald, Janice Steimer, Kay Wickson, Kathy Clayton-Roy and Carolyn Gaylord for 25 years; Mary Grace Sloan for 30 years; Grace Sibbald and Rosemary Kingsley 35 years; Georgiana Sales and Nancy Rhoda for 40 years and Joan Curtis for 45 years.
