Chili Senior Center announces events

Lunch and library - Friday April 22 from 11:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. A trip downtown for lunch and a tour of the Rundell Library is being offered. View maps, extensive photo collection and historical doll collection as well as the rest of the library. The cost is $10 per person.

Safety for seniors - The Chili Senior Center will be holding a seminar presented by Kathryn Iacovangelo, personal safety and security instructor, on keeping yourself safe from being a crime victim, Thursday, April 21 at 10 a.m. The seminar is free.

Taking control of arthritis - A Taking Control of Arthritis class is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 27 and May 4 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The class will be taught by Joanne Insull, program director of the Arthritis Foundation. This three-week class is designed to help people with arthritis develop techniques to help them live with few limits and less pain. The class is free and you must be able to attend all three classes.

Pancake breakfast - The Chili Senior Center is holding a pancake breakfast on Tuesday, April 19 at 9 a.m. The cost is $5 for seniors age 55+. Advanced registration is required by April 14.

United Way Day of Caring at the Seneca Park Zoo - The Chili Senior Center will be attending the United Way Day of Caring at the Seneca Park Zoo on Friday, April 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $5, lunch and transportation are included.
