Varsity teams volunteer for projects

This winter, the Rangers varsity athletic teams have performed a variety of projects:

• Boys Basketball - Sponsored "Coaches vs. Cancer" Christmas Tournament with GBB Coach Chow Classic (donated $4,200 to American Cancer Society).
• Girls Basketball - Sponsored "Coach Chow Classic" with BBB Coaches vs Cancer Christmas Tournament (donated $4,200 to American Cancer Society).
• Girls Volleyball - Served as Bell ringers for the Salvation Army - December 2004.
• Boys Swimming - Conducted a Canned Food Drive - Donated to St. John's food shelf.
• Hockey - Sold frisbees at a Rochester Americans Hockey game to raise money for the American Cancer Society; (raised $750).
• Indoor Track - Assisted with SCS Elementary Schools PE "Turkey Trot" run, participated in Christmas Mitten tree.
• Wrestling - Assisted with Jr. Ranger Wrestling Club Youth Wrestling Tournament (set up, officiating, clean up).
• Winter Cheerleading - Sold kazoos for Camp Good Days (raised $100).
• Boys/Girls Bowling - Donated toys to SSBC for "Toys For Sports."
