William T. Michielsen, of West Avenue, Spencerport, has been named to the dean's list for the fall and winter 2004-2005 quarters at Rochester Institute of Technology, maintaining a grade point average of 4.0 for both quarters. A fourth-year student in RIT's B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, he is studying computer science.

William is the son of Thomas and Linda Michielsen and a 2001 graduate of Spencerport High School.


Christina Munger, of North Chili, has been named to the dean's list for the winter quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. A third-year student in RIT's College of Business, Munger is studying business management. She is the daughter of Robert and Linda Munger. She is a 2002 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School.


Renee Green of Spencerport graduated from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan, with an English degree.


Jenna Bower, a junior at the State University of New York, College at Brockport, was a dean's list student for the fall 2004 semester. She was recently inducted in the college's honor society, Alpha Chi, New York Omicron Chapter, on March 25. Bower, who is the eldest daughter, of Mark and Karen Bower, resides in Holley.

At SUNY's Scholar's Day on April 13, Bower was selected to be a presenter for two different sessions. She is a co-presenter for the Art History presentation entitled, Blind with the Gift of Sight: Islamic Cosmology and Aesthetics in the Color of Paradise, chaired by her art history professor, Alisia Chase. She also was co-presenting for the History presentation entitled Beautiful Landscapes, Natural Disasters, and Polluted Cities in American History, chaired by one of her history professors, James Spiller.

On April 22, Bower will receive the History Department's Robert A. Griswold Award, recognizing a junior or senior history major with a GPA of 3.5 or above at the college's annual awards ceremony and, on that same day, she will become a member of the History Department's honor society, Phi Alpha Theta. This is the oldest and second largest disciplinary honors society in the country, with less than five percent of history majors even qualifying. She is a 2002 graduate of Holley Central School District.


Realtor Sandy Blonsky, with RE/MAX First, has been presented with the RE/MAX 100% Club Award. The 100% Club designation recognizes associates who have earned at least $100,000 in commissions, far above the industry average. Of 100,000 RE/MAX affiliates in 2004, only 23,724 reached this level of sales production. Blonsky is the recipient of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors (GRAR) Sales Master Gold Award and the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) Zenith Award.

Real Estate Specialist licensed since 1985, Blonsky has been a RE/MAX agent for 15 years. She is one of 10,171 RE/MAX affiliates included in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. This honor is reserved for affiliates who have earned at least $1 million in commissions during their careers with RE/MAX. As the top listing agent in Hilton and Parma, Blonsky puts her experience to work for clients. She is serving as Co-chair of the GRAR Communications Committee and as Vice President of New Members for WCR.


Marine Corps Pvt. Aaron B. Pratt, son of Cynthia L. and Jim Senger of Hamlin, recently graduated from the Cannon Crewman Course while assigned with Marine Detachment, U.S. Army Field Artillery School, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Pratt is a 2004 graduate of East High School of Rochester.


Air Force Reserve Airman Stephanie A. Gordon has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Gordon is the daughter of Susan Gordon of Spencerport and Karl Gordon of Canandaigua. She is a 2003 graduate of Spencerport High School.
