The Finger Lakes Region Scholastic Art Exhibition, held at the Rochester Institute of Technology Bevier Gallery, annually attracts hundreds of entries in several categories including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, photography and digital imaging. Hilton High School art students won 11 awards this year according to Art Teacher Dana Boshnack. Gold Key winner was Greg Parizek, sculpture; Silver Key winner was Keith Viger, digital image; Honorable mentions: Katie Polzer, charcoal drawing; Amy Mintonye, charcoal drawing; Emily Rader, painting; Liliya Korolchuk, batik; Sam Gerner, ceramic; Christine Farrand, pen and ink; Michelle Lepore, print; Heather Green, plate; and Amy Hebblewaithe, ceramic. |
