Student designs school badge
Seventh-grader Hayley Jones' design will be on the A.D. Oliver Middle School student ID badges. Jones was the winner of an in-school contest with Lifetouch to design a logo for the badges. The winning logo, selected out of 20 entries, includes a picture of the middle school and two interlocking hands with "We Care" across the top.
"I liked the idea of having interlocking hands because it is a sign of people helping each other and shows that we care," Jones said.
She will receive a free photo package from Lifetouch and a free school yearbook for her winning design.
