Ogden Library plans tribute to mothers and fathers
Area residents are invited to share their memories of their mother and father with the community though a very special exhibit at the Ogden Farmers' Library. During May and June, photos of mothers and fathers will be on display at the library and will be accompanied by a memory written by a son or daughter.
Last year, library staff shared photos of their own fathers for a Father's Day exhibit. The exhibit caused many library users to share special stories about their own fathers with the staff, and many asked to be included in another exhibit. Those who would like to share a photo and memory of one or both of their parents can stop in at the library with the photo and ask to see Patty or Kate. Original photos will be scanned at the library, so the photo does not have to be left at the library for the exhibit. Memories that are to accompany a photo may be handwritten or typed. Photos and memories can also be sent by email to uttaro@ogdenny.com.
The exhibit will be in the library from May 2 through June 30. Call 352-2141 for information.
