Byron-Bergen adopts budget

The Byron-Bergen Board of Education adopted the 2005-2006 budget proposition of $16,559,514. Also on the ballot is a second proposition to purchase two 30-passenger wheel chair capable buses and one 7 passenger van not to exceed a cost of $128,000.

Three candidates are running for two seats on the board of election. The candidates are Philip Fiacco, Sharon Bidwell and Ernest Haywood.

Voting will be Tuesday, May 17 from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Voting will be in the High School Wrestling/Fitness Room in the wing of the school across from the bus garage.
