Tully, Rinckey, and Associates, P.L.L.C., of Albany, has added Breanne S. Skivington, Esq. as its newest attorney. Skivington will concentrate her practice in the areas of Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Estate Planning, Lender Closing, Land Use and Zoning.

Skivington, originally from Spencerport, is the daughter of Diane M. Palumbo and the late Michael J. Skivington and is a 1997 graduate of Spencerport High School. She received her A.S. with honors from Monroe Community College where she became interested in pursuing a law career. She went on to complete a bachelor of arts in Administration of Justice from the Pennsylvania State University before receiving her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School of Union University in 2004, and is admitted to the New York State Bar and United States Federal District Court for the Northern District of New York.


Matthew J. Kutolowski has been awarded a four-year fellowship and named a Faculty Fellow in the PhD program of the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University. His research focus will be religion and thought in pre-modern China. Kutolowski is currently completing the MA degree at Columbia. This summer he will return to National Taiwan University, in Taipei, where he and his wife, Emily, spent last year, for two months of language study under a scholarship awarded by Columbia.

Matt and Emily Kutolowski devote much of their free time to human rights work related to China, and Matt is currently preparing an article on the Falun Gong movement in China for publication. He is a 1992 graduate of Brockport High School and a 1999 graduate of Swarthmore College. His parents are John and Kathy Kutolowski of Meadowview Drive, Brockport.


Hilton High School English teacher David Ruekberg has been awarded a fellowship by the Jentel Artist Residency Program in Sheridan, Wyoming for July. He will be among the award recipients focusing on their own creative projects at this four-week working retreat for artists and writers. He has taught English at Hilton High School since 1992 and lives with is wife, Leah, a storyteller, in LeRoy.


Students at the State University of New York at Fredonia have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2004 semester. Those from this area are:

•From North Chili: Melissa Antes and Kathleen Hastings.

Navy Seaman Christian R. Johnroe son of Ann M. Neilans of Naples, Florida and Robert W. Johnroe of Churchville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.

Johnroe is a 1994 graduate of Albion Central High School. He is a 2003 graduate of San Diego State University with a BS degree.


Navy Airman Apprentice Michael P. Saraceni, son of Patricia A. Saraceni of Hilton and Pasquale P. Saraceni of Rochester recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.

Saraceni is a 1999 graduate of Churchville-Chili Senior High School.


Navy Fireman Steven B. Meyer, son of Darlene M. Mante of Bergen and Lawrence B. Meyer of Spencerport, recently reported for duty aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, home ported in Norfolk, Virginia.

Meyers is a 2002 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and joined the Navy in July 2002.
