Kendall schools ranked tops in Orleans County

For the fifth consecutive year, Kendall Central School District has placed first in Orleans County and in the top third of all school districts in an eight-county region based on a ranking by Buffalo's Business First newspaper.

Business First graded 97 public school systems in the eight-county region. Each district was scored on a 100-point scale, reflecting the collective performance of its public elementary, middle and high schools during the past three years.

This year, Business First ranked the Kendall School District 32 out of 97 districts. Kendall maintains a substantial lead over the county's next district, which placed 50th.
