Brockport Fire Department holds practice exercise

On Saturday, May 7, Brockport Fire Department personnel turned out for a practice exercise which emphasized the use of thermal imaging cameras in rescue situations. The drill was held at the Wesco Fire Training Building on Owens Road in Brockport, purchased by the fire department last summer using FEMA money. Brockport Fire Chief Chris McCullough received a check for $15,000 in NYS grant money obtained through the efforts of Assemblyman Bill Reilich. The money will be used to purchase two thermal imaging cameras.
