Brockport Kiwanis promotes child safety
As part of the fun and games of Max's Mardi Gras, the Brockport Kiwanis Club was on hand to pass out child safety identification record folders to parents.
The record folders are a place for parents to keep a sample of their child's hair, a current photo, dental records and other vital statistics in the event the child should become missing. The information in the folders, Kiwanis members said, could go a long way to ensure a child's recovery should they become missing.
The Kiwanis committee was chaired by Wes Beyers and Dr. Todd Twitchell's dental staff who passed out dental impression kits.
