Boater safety course offered

Hilton-Parma Recreation will be offering an eight hour boater safety course at the Village Community Center on June 9 and 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. and June 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The course is being taught by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-8. Upon successful completion, a certificate and ID card will be issued. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. This course also qualifies Jet Ski operators 10 years and older to operate legally in New York state. Cost for the class is $25 for one and $30 for two in the same family.
