•Haughwout, Allen "Al," May 16, 2005, age 91. He is survived by his children, Robert (Judith) Haughwout, Marylyn (Bernard) Fleming and Jean Marie (Mario) D'Errico; six grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held May 19 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


ALBION

Parker, Alex J., 70, died May 16, 2005 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He worked at Hunts Foods until its closing and then Kirby's Farm in Albion. He is survived by his wife Lilly (Spivey), whom he married in 1962; son, Napoleon Parker of Albion; daughter, Cynthia (Steve) Spencer of Henrietta; stepdaughter, Eva Mae Harmon of Rochester; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild. He is predeceased by a son, Alex Parker Jr.

Funeral Services were held May 23 at 1 p.m. at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the charity of choice.


BERGEN

Jarvis, Earl W. Jr., May 12, 2005, at age 79. Husband of the late Rita M. Jarvis; father of Donald Earl (Terry) Jarvis, Bonnie (Larry Koss) Doolan and Keith Eric Jarvis; brother of Herbert Jarvis and Marilyn (Richard) Weaver and the late Edward Jarvis; also survived by six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Szczupakowski, Audrey D., May 12, 2005 at age 79. Wife of Alex Szczupakowski. Mother of Doris Szczupakowski, James (Joanie) Szczupakowski, David (Carol) Szczupakowski. Grandmother of Adam, Matthew, Derek, Jeffrey and Michael Szczupakowski. Brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 16 at St. Brigid's Church, Bergen. Interment, St. Brigid's Cemetery. Fodge, Charles B., May 18, 2005, age 83. Husband of Elizabeth Beckler Fodge; father of James (Sheila) Fodge, Maureen Fodge, Ruth Fodge and Robin Essig; step-father of Richard Parisi; brother of James Fodge; grandfather of nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and cousins.

Sommerfeldt, Charlotte A., age 74, died May 15, 2005 at Village Green Nursing Home, LeRoy, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick in 2003. She is survived by three sons, Roger Sommerfeldt of Barre, Marty (Kathleen) Sommerfeldt of Kent, Darryl (Donna) Sommerfeldt of Clarendon; four daughters, Marcia Makriginnis of Greece, Cindy (John) Waldron of Clarendon, Vicki (Craig) Sauls of Kendall, Roxanne (Tom) Gould of Elba; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five brothers, Donald Hillabush of Batavia, Jack (Doris) Hillabush, George (Anita) Hillabush of Byron, Paul (Ann) Hillabush of St. Johnsville, Keith Hillabush of Byron; sister, Ruth (Richard) Crowley of Bergen; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother, David Hillabush and a sister, Sally Burns.

Funeral Services were held May 19 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley. Burial in North Byron Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Clarendon Fire Company.

Stoll, Herman H. J., May 2, 2005, age 81. Survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Herman; brother, Robert (Christel) Stoll; and nieces.

Sanford, Kenneth P., Age 82, May 11, 2005. Predeceased by wife, Ernestine in 1994. Survived by sons, William (Paula) Sanford of Holley/Arkansas and Paul (Donna) Sanford of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Deborah McNerlin of Rochester; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Muriel Sanford of Rochester; his cousin, Betty of Rochester.

NORTH CHILI

Alexander, Eloise, M., May 13, 2005 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband William R. Alexander. Survived by her sons William (Rachel), Larry (Jeanne), John (Margaret), Stephen (Michelle), Daniel (Lori) and Jay Alexander; her 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; several sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Eloise and her family have owned Alexander's IGA of North Chili for over 50 years.

A Funeral Service was held May 15 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Con-tributions can be made to Lifetime Care of Rochester Hospice or Chili Lions Club in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Cope, John R., Saturday, May 14, 2005 at age 74 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Dolores I. Cope; children, Wayne (Cheryl) Cope, Randy (Liz) Cope, Sharon (Barr) Miesch, Terry Cope and Debra O'Neill; his sister Dorothy McKee; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. John was a longtime member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association-Chapter W and the Cool Springs Power Museum.

A Memorial Service was held May 16 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center or the Lipson Cancer Center in his memory.


DeMarse, Eleanor M., (Truesdale), May 18, 2005 at age 87. She was predeceased in 1968 by her husband Bill DeMarse, radio personality. She is survived by her daughter Patti (Al) Hindman of Spencerport; sons, Thomas (Margaret) DeMarse of Seattle and James (Elisabeth) DeMarse of New York City; her grandchildren Tom DeMarse, Wendy (Jason) Falihee, Daniel and Katie DeMarse; great granddaughter Kaitlin Falihee; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeMarse was a former member and was actively involved in St. Salome's Parish - President of the Women's Club and founder of FAFF.

A Funeral Mass was said May 21 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
