Fundraiser planned for Hamlin family

Easter Seals New York and Friendly's Restaurant are joining forces for a fund raising event to aid the James Lamparela family of Hamlin.

Due to toxic mold, which spread throughout the family's home, James Lamparela his wife, Dawn, and two children, Alex and Katie, lost all their possessions and became seriously ill. The family's home was also destroyed and the environment became uninhabitable.

The Easter Seals/Friendly's event is set for 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8. Total revenue earned in that time frame will be donated to the Lamparela family. Cash donations will also be accepted. For information, contact the Friendly's Restaurant, Marketplace Mall, 424-4053.
