Jamie L. Pricola, daughter of Jim and Kathy Pricola of Brockport, has graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a bachelors degree in childhood education. She has been accepted into the master's program in education at SUNY Fredonia and is currently participating in a teaching exchange in England.


Frank Remillard received a commission as second lieutenant in the United States Army in a ceremony held May 14 at SUNY College at Brockport. He is the son of Mark and Shelly Remillard of Hilton. Remillard also graduated from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in military science.

He is assigned to the SUNY Brockport ROTC Battalion as a recruiter until October, when he will report to Ft. Knox.


Cherisse Rehman of Ogden has been initiated as a member of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education. She is enrolled in the master of science in education degree program at Nazareth College. Rehman, a 2000 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School, and a 2004 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, is the daughter of Vern and Patricia Rehman.


Adam Tinkous of Holley graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.


Jill Marie Lowell received the juris doctor degree from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. She received her bachelor of arts degree from SUNY-Binghamton in 2002. Lowell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Klein Lowell of Holley.


Lindsay Conte, a 2000 graduate of Hilton High School, graduated from University of Buffalo. She received her bachelor of science and master of science in exercise/nutrition from the Department of Public Health and Health Professions.

Conte was also a recipient of the Annette Bachman Scholarship for Exercise Science majors for the past two academic years.

Conte is the daughter of Dan and Bette Conte of Wilder Road in Hilton.


Jennifer Marmo, formerly of Redman Road, Brockport, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Hillsdale College. She majored in speech and minored in English. She will be attending Eastern Michigan University Graduate School in the fall. Her goal is to become a speech professor.


Andrew Joshua Meyers of Churchville, has been named a Hope College Phi Beta Kappa honoree.


Marie Lloyd, daughter of Mike and Char Lloyd of Ogden, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a master of science degree in sport and exercise psychology. She is a 1999 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2003 graduate of Binghamton University. Lloyd has accepted an assistantship to pursue her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.


Matthew McGrath of Hilton, a senior majoring in economics in the College of Arts and Sciences and public relations in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, received the Economics Department's High Academic Distinction award at the college's annual awards convocation held May 14.


Matthew Montanaro of Rochester, has graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in physics with highest honors. He studied in RIT's College of Science. Montanaro is the son of Romea and Nick Montanaro and a 2001 graduate of Aquinas Institute.


Air National Guard Senior Airman Cheryl J. Strong has been decorated with the Air Force Achievement Medal.

She is the daughter of Robert Strong of Brockport and the niece of David Tucher of Marcellus, NY. Strong graduated in 1998 from Brockport High School, received an associate degree in 2002 and earned a bachelor's degree in 2005 from SUNY Brockport.


PFC Nicholas B. Hanrahan is serving with the U.S. Army 142nd Military Police Corps in Yongsan, South Korea. He graduated from Company C, 787th Military Police Battalion in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, on February 25. He is the son of Michael J. and Renate Hanrahan, of Parma.
