Fair accepting talent show applications

The Monroe County Fair is accepting applications for its annual Talent Showcase which will have a Junior, Teen and the all-new Adult category.

The Junior Showcase is open to individuals and groups 12 years of age and under. The Teen Showcase is open to individuals and groups 13 to 19 and the Adult Showcase is open to the individuals and groups 19 years and older.

The Junior Showcase Preliminaries will be on Wednesday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. There will be two Teen Preliminary Showcases on Thursday, July 14 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 16 at 1 p.m. The Adult Talent Showcase will be on Friday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. The Talent Showcase Finals will be on Sunday, July 17 at 7 p.m. All shows will take place on the Wegmans Music City Stage at the Fair before the night's headline performers.

The entry fee is $10 per act for juniors and teens and $25 for adult acts. All entrants will receive free admission to the fair. Kids 12 and under receive free admission every day of the fair. For rules and entry forms call the fair office at 585-334-4000.

The Monroe County Fair runs July 13 - July 17 at the fairgrounds in Henrietta.
