New York maple producers moving on promotions
The New York State Maple Producers Association is moving forward with a promotions campaign thanks to $100,000 funding provided by New York state.
New York state geographically lies in the heart of the maple producing area of North America and the sugar maple is the New York state tree. New York's maple producers regularly win tasting awards in national and international competitions.
The promotion will educate the consumer about New York's pure maple syrup, sugar and cream which are the decades' oldest maple products, but the newer maple products which include coated nuts, snow cones, cotton candy and hot and mild maple mustards.
