offers care in gastroenterology and hepatology Dr. Suri Karthikeyan opened a practice in the Physicians Office Building at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Karthikeyan's office is located in Suite 202, at 156 West Avenue in Brockport (637-8580). Services offered at Lakeside include screening colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, evaluation of peptic ulcer disease, reflux disease, rectal bleeding, colon polyp surveillance and other bowel, stomach and liver disorders. All procedures are performed at Lakeside, including ERCPs, utilizing digital fluoroscopy equipment. Dr. Karthikeyan graduated in 1978 from Madras Medical College, a premier school in India. He moved to England in 1981 to complete post graduate work in Internal Medicine. In 1988, he moved to Canada where he was a fellow in internal medicine and gastroenterology at McMaster University and completed the Canadian boards of internal medicine and gastroenterology. In 1993, he completed the American boards in the same fields. Dr. Karthikeyan was in private practice at New London, Connecticut in 1995 until he relocated to Rochester, for family reasons, practicing at Highland Hospital first and then Rochester General Hospital. |
