Hilton High School has been steadily sending students to military academies and will add three more to that list from the Class of 2005 this month, according to Hilton High School Principal David Dimbleby. Receiving appointments this year are: Bryan Mussler, US Air Force Academy; Lisa Bush, US Air Force Academy; and Matthew Faulks, US Merchant Marine Academy. Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mussler, was nominated by Honorable Louise Slaughter. Lisa Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Bush, was also nominated by Congresswoman Slaughter. Bryan and Lisa will enter boot camp in Colorado Springs June 30. Both are interested in becoming pilots. Lisa's brother, Michael, is in his second year at the Air Force Academy and is a member of the Wings of Blue Sky Diving Team. Matthew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Faulks, will attend the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kingsport, New York. He was also nominated by Congresswoman Slaughter. Hilton High School Class of 2005 Commencement will be held Saturday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at the Eastman Theater in Rochester. Appointments to the academies will be made at that time. |
