Spencerport names basketball, hockey coaches
Spencerport Central Schools announced that Michael Decillis has been named as the Rangers varsity girls basketball coach. He replaces Mark Moon who coached the Rangers for three years. It also announced that Brian Fedele has been named as the Rangers varsity hockey coach.
Decillis was the women's head coach at NCAA Division I Canisius College. Previously he was the head women's coach at Nazareth College and is a retired physical education teacher and varsity boys basketball coach at Gates-Chili High School.
There will be a Meet the Coaches Night on Thursday, June 30 to introduce Decillis. It will be held in the district's Administration Building in room 15 beginning at 6 p.m.
Fedele is currently a physical education teacher with the Rochester City School District at the Clara Barton School #2. He has served as an assistant hockey coach at Aquinas Institute and Monroe Community College and most recently Brockport High School. He replaces Tom Donnelly who resigned after eight years as the Rangers hockey coach.
