queen selected Kayla Sucy, a Hilton High School Junior and a lifelong resident of Hilton, was chosen by the Hilton Apple Fest Committee as the 2005 Hilton Apple Fest Queen. Her first public appearance will be in the Hilton Firemen's Parade, riding in the Hilton Apple Fest convertible. The Hilton Apple Fest is also planning on having a float in the Hilton Firemen's Parade, and she has offered to help decorate the float. The Apple Fest Queen will also be at the 25th Hilton Apple Fest on October 1 and 2. Sucy will take part in the opening ceremony, greeting visiting dignitaries and will take part in the anniversary cake cutting ceremony. She will also visit Kids Corner several times throughout the day, spend time at the Apple Fest Historical Display and be photographed with Apple Fest attendees. This is the first year that the Hilton Apple Fest will have their own queen. Many years ago the Western New York Apple Harvest Queen made a visit to the Apple Fest, but there has not been an Apple Harvest Queen in several years.
