Open house honors retiring teacher

After touching the lives of more than 400 children, Corrine Pimm has retired from the Union Church preschool after 24 years. The Preschool Steering Committee is hosting an open house to honor her Wednesday, July 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Union Church, 14 North Main Street, Churchville. All friends, former students and families are invited to attend.

Cheryl Valvano, recent retiree of the Churchville-Chili School district, will be taking over the preschool position. Call Valvano at 293-3061 for information on preschool class openings.
