Committee dedicates new signs
On Saturday, July 16, residents of Adams Basin came together to install and dedicate their new signs. The signs were placed at the four corners of the hamlet at the Canal Road and Washington Street intersection, directly in front of the Little Red School House and the Ginther home. The material for the signs, and the future landscaping, was funded by community volunteers. Local sign maker and artist, Brian "The Brush" Briskie designated the signs and donated his labor. The official sign committee: Wil Hunter, Rhonda Penders and artist Brian Briskie pose with Ogden Supervisor Gay Lenhard and Adams Basin resident Rita Ginther in front of one of the new Adams Basin signs. Although the signs were a community effort, the project was organized by these individuals over the past six months. Submitted photo.
