The Extra Mile Award

Sandra Lapinski was awarded Hamlin's Extra Mile Award. This award is designed to recognize Hamlin residents who have shown an act of kindness, done a good deed or gone the extra mile. Letters from Deacon Ramon C. Datz and employees of the town hall described Lapinski's brave and heroic act when she pulled Ray Redick from a burning vehicle after an accident on Redman Road, March 4, 2004.
