Holley seeking candidates to fill board of ed vacancy

The Holley Board of Education is accepting letters of interest from residents willing to fill the vacant seat of Dennis Piedimonte, who resigned at the August 1 meeting.

Letters of interest should be addressed to Cece Swanger, Clerk of the Board, Holley Central School District, 3800 North Main Street, Holley, NY 14470. Letters must be received on or before Wednesday, August 10.

Residents submitting letters are asked to state their reasons for wishing to serve on the Board of Education, and include a listing of relevant background and experience.

To serve on the school board, an individual must be at least 18 years of age, a Holley Central School District resident, and a United States citizen.
