Polling changes affect primary vote

Two polling site changes will first be in effect for the September 13 primary. Sweden voters in District 5, who previously voted at the Capen Hose Fire House, will now vote at the Sweden Senior Center, 133 State Street. Residents in Sweden District 12, who previously voted at the Grace Baptist Church, will now vote at the Sweden/Clarkson Community Center, 4927 Lake Road South.

On Primary Day, polls will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Sites are handicapped accessible. Sweden residents with questions about their polling sites can contact Monroe County Board of Elections at 428-4550.
