Leaping to victory

Sheldon Meyers found a bull frog the week before Clarkson's Good Neighbor Day, gathered his daughters and their neighborhood friends and formed Team Durango to take care of it until the contest. Neighbor Emma Carpenter was Durango's trainer. The frog's ability was doubted because he looked like a frog "couch potato." It took him only two leaps to win both of his heats. Team Durango won the nine and older division. Team Durango let the frog go back into the pond from where he came.
