No application filed for North Chili corner parcel
Despite many rumors circulating concerning project plans for the northeast corner of the Route 259 and Buffalo Road intersection in North Chili, Dan Kress says no application has been filed with the Town of Chili.
Kress, director of Planning, Zoning and Development in Chili, said the deadline to file an application to be considered by the town's planning board at its October meeting has passed. There has been interest expressed in the use of the property, he said.
Currently located on the property are a three story masonry building and a plumbing business. Kress acknowledged that the masonry building had historical significance but had not ever been officially designated a landmark. The parcel is zoned general business.
Among those to have made inquiries about the parcel is Walgreen's stores, Kress said.
