Holley student councils raising money for Katrina victims

To help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Holley Senior High and Middle School Student Councils will be sponsoring a "Pennies War" over the next two weeks.

Student Council members will collect spare change in jars labeled for each grade level and for faculty during lunch periods. Students and staff will compete to see who can raise the most money. All funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross.

The community is encouraged to make donations as well by contacting Jim DiSessa at 638-6335, ext. 6011 or dropping off their donations at the Holley High School Main Office by September 23. Make checks payable to the American Red Cross.
