Zubel, Antonelli lead Rangers

Spencerport registered wins at third and fourth singles along with first and second doubles to squeak out a 4-3 victory over Hilton in girl's tennis.

Amy Zubel won at third singles 7-5, 6-4 and Christina Antonelli took her fourth singles match 6-2, 6-2 for the Rangers.

Seniors Heather Dorofy and Julie Yanklowski had little trouble at first doubles in a 6-0, 6-1 win. Jen Garwol and Nicole Waldow rallied after losing their first set to take the second doubles match 1-6, 7-5, 7-6.

For the Cadets, Rebecca Bartl won at first singles 7-6 and rallied after being down in the second set 3-2 to win 6-3. Heather Machamer took her second singles match 7-5, 6-4 and Natalie Appleton and Emily Irish won at third singles 7-6, 6-4.

Spencerport improved to 4-1, 1-0 while Hilton fell to 3-2, 1-1.
