Railroad tracks on Rt. 19 in Bergen to be rebuilt

The CSX Railroad will be rebuilding the grade crossing on Route 19 in the village of Bergen, Genesee County. It will be necessary to close the road and detour traffic on Monday, September 26 at 7 a.m. through Friday, September 29 at 5 p.m.

Detour signs will be posted. The posted detour does not include Route 262. From Route 19 northbound, take 33 West to 237 North to 31A East to 31 East to 19. The opposite is true for southbound traffic.

Genesee County is working on Route 262 in Byron.
