Baxter, William Edward, September 19, 2005 at age 70. Predeceased by his daughter, Ellen Baxter. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sula Baxter; his children, Timothy (Valerie) Baxter, Andy (Maureen) Baxter, Cheryl (Herbert) Goggins and Matthew Bowman Baxter of Oregon; grandchildren, Ann, Shannon, Melissa, Sara, Drew, Zachary, Brandon, and Jacob; great grandson, Wyatt; brother-in-law, Tom (Judy) Deisenroth; many nieces and nephews. William was a member of the Churchville Masonic Lodge #667 and Nolatka OES #320. He was a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service and a long time employee of Schaller's.
A Memorial Service was held September 22 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, Greece. Private interment. Contributions can be made to Heritage Christian Foundation, 349 W. Commercial Street, East Rochester, NY 14445 in his memory.
BROCKPORT
Guntrum, Neal R., Died September 18, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ellen Louise; his beloved children, Neala (James) Stull and Myra Ellen Guntrum; grandchildren, Michelle (Paul) Kemblowski, Susan (Tom) Farris; great grandchildren, Bethany Falson, Julian, Henry, Olivia, Maria; sister, Minnie Shaffer and brother Carl Guntrum. Predeceased by brothers, Elcana and Ray Guntrum; sister, Doreen Henderson. Neal was a WWII veteran and a retiree of Owens-Illinois.
A Funeral Service was held September 21 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lake View Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 1280 Empire Boulevard, Webster 14580 or the Brockport Ambulance Corps in his memory.
Harrison, Jerilyn W. (Worbois), September 15, 2005, at age 63. She is survived by her daughter, Lori A. Harrison; her brother, Charles (Jamie) Worbois; her nieces Becky (Rob) Milby, Cindy (Dominic) Troina and Suzie (Will) Parks. She was a retiree of High Falls Brewery following 23 years of service.
A Funeral Service was held September 21 at the Brockport Free Methodist Church. Interment, North Chili Rural Cemetery. KENDALL
Vick, Eleanor E., 92, of the Katherine Luther Nursing Home, Clinton, died September 18, 2005 at the home. She was born in Newfane, NY, the daughter of Leon and Jennie Winter Shaw. She was educated in Kendall Central School and Brockport Normal College. In Kendall, February 13, 1937, she married Frederick W. Vick. He predeceased her. She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, and two sons and daughters-in-law, William (Sheryl) Vick of Kendall, Patricia (Robert) Pitcher of Rome, Marilynn Reynolds of Pittsford and Thomas (Christy) Vick of Kendall; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marion E. Vick of Rochester; two nieces, Nancy Swain of Albany and Suzanne Durgee of Syracuse; and a nephew, William Shaw of Rochester. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Lauren Vick and a brother, Carl Shaw.
Funeral Services were held September 21 in Clinton. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin. Donations can be made to the Lutheran Homes Foundation, Chapel Fund, 110 Utica Road, Clinton, NY 13323 or Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall 14476 in her memory.
KENT
Fleming, Thomas P., September 15, 2005, at age 49. after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father, Gerald P. Fleming; brothers, Gerald and Michael Fleming. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn; daughters, Kim and Wendy; long-time companion, Patti M. Harris; brother, Christopher (Ingrid); sister, Maureen (Brian) Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated September 19 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
SPENCERPORT
Bauer, Arlene F. (King), September 16, 2005, at age 86. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy J. Bauer, and her son Evan Harmer. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Lynd) Hicks; her daughter-in-law, Lori Harmer; her grandchildren Greg (Laurie) Harmer, Mindy (Mark) Leibeck and Michael Hicks; her great-grandchildren Josh and Kristin Harmer, Jennifer and Zachary Leibeck; her sisters Ruth Fitzgerald, Evelyn Tosh and Helen (Burdette) O'Brieu; her brothers-in-law Donald (Mary) Bauer and William (Eva) Bauer; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Monroe County VFLA.
A Funeral Service was held September 18 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Private interment. Donations can be made to the Memorial Fund of Parma Baptist Community Church, 4997 West Ridge Road, Spencerport 14559 in her memory.
Brown, James A. "Tony," September 15, 2005, at age 62. He was predeceased by his father Franklin J. Brown. He is survived by his sons, Charles and Alex Smith; his mother, Marion M. Brown; his siblings, Shirley (Joe) Elliott, Lance (Denise) Brown, Douglas (Sue) Brown and Geoffrey (Pat) Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and was a member of Etolian Lodge #479 F.&A.M.
