Remembering history
On September 17, 1787 delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia met to sign the United States Constitution. In commemoration of that day, President George W. Bush on December 8, 2004 signed Public Law 108-447 which designates every September 17 as Constitution Day. This year, Hilton High School Social Studies Teacher Kathy Amorese prepared a large "Preamble" sign on the wall at the school to give students a reminder of the famous words contained in the Constitution.
