Holley Student Council Treasurer Scott Brooks and President Rachael Hettel have stacks of rolled pennies and some silver and paper money, too, after the Student Council held "Penny Wars" to benefit hurricane victims. Jars labeled for each grade level were placed in the cafeteria and students and staff competed to see who could raise the most money. The fundraiser netted more than $1,000, which will be combined with donations from the elementary school and sent the American Red Cross.were among more than a dozen Rotarians and friends who teamed up to raise funds for hurricane relief at a recent "Traffic Stop." The club members thank all the persons who contributed. All the funds raised were earmarked for the victims of the recent hurricanes.
