Big winners

In it's first try, Lakeside Health's Win Big Lottery drew a lot of attention and raised nearly $9,000 for the hospital. The first prize of $5,000 went to Tom Bowdler of Brockport. Second prize of $3,000 went to Kent Kroemer of Rochester and Larry Maynard of Brockport took home the third prize of $1,000. Assemblyman Bill Reilich attended the prize reception on September 30 and drew the winning tickets. "This has been a great community event for Lakeside," says Mary Ann Thorpe, chairperson for the Community Campaign Committee, which helps organize special events for Lakeside. "We truly appreciate the overwhelming show of support from those who live and work in our community."
