At a reception Thursday, October 6, hundreds of college faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends turned out to officially welcome new president Dr. John R. Halstead, his wife, Kathy and daughter, Christine, to SUNY Brockport. Halstead said, "It is a distinct privilege to serve as the sixth president of Brockport ... We were gratified that so many people joined our faculty, staff, alumni and college leadership for this occasion." The college community presented Dr. John R.
