Governor of the Genesee Division of Kiwanis International, pins the president's pin on Dan Halstead, incoming president of the Kiwanis Club of Spencerport, at a recent meeting at Pineview Family Restaurant. Other officers installed at the meeting include Lou Ferrari, vice president, Keith Ryan, secretary and Phil Dow, treasurer. The club thanked outgoing president Harry Ewell, who served in that capacity for two years. During President Ewell's term the club continued with its support of many Spencerport and Rochester area functions and assisted in the formation of a new Kiwanis Club in Kenya, east Africa. Support was also lent to a school in Kenya by providing school supplies and a new computer. The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Pineview Family Restaurant.
