AREA

•Dercqu, Helen J., on October 31, 2005 at age 77. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Dercqu Sr.; granddaughter Amanda and great grandson, Joshua. Survived by her son, Robert II (Anne); daughter Susan (Jim); brother, Edward Daurich of Pennsylvania; sisters, Audrey Spiering and Jean Kish of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Lisa (Mark) Dixon and Robert Daurich III and Jonathan; great grandchildren Jesse and Ashleigh Dixon, Faith and Autumn Daurich, Robert Daurich IV and Aleighsha.

•Lauterborn, Jay A., Age 84, died on October 21, 2005 in his home in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bud Sommers and June Allard. He is survived by his wife, Mary of West Palm Beach, Florida; his children, Michael Lauterborn of Churchville, Maureen (Steven) Leupold of Holley; and their mother, Helen; granddaughter, Tracy Leupold of Holley; two stepsons and their wives, David (Dorothy) Walsh of Lake Park, Florida, Steven (Maria) Walsh of Batavia; his sister-in-law, Agnes Walsh of West Palm Beach, Florida; six step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 86 for nearly 60 years. As well as being an electrician, Mr. Lauterborn farmed in North Chili for years and in the late 1960's started Jay's Tree Farm and Greenhouse. When Mr. Lauterborn remarried and retired, he moved to Florida and opened Mary-Jay Liquors. Jay was an avid fisher-man, birdwatcher and in later years a fine woodworking craftsman.

Funeral Services were held October 29 at Turner's Funeral Home, Batavia. Private interment, St Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia. Donations can be made to World Wildlife Fund, American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Boyle, Jean L., November 1, 2005, age 78. Predeceased by her husband, John. Survived by her children, Deborah (Tom) Bell, Michael (Tami) Boyle; sis-ter, Doris Bilohlavek; sisters-in-law, Rose Thelen, Jeanne (James) Waldorf; brother-in-law, William Schoeneman; grandchildren, Catilin and Erin Boyle; special friend Les Holland; and nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said November 5 at Nativity of the BVM Church, Brockport. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. Donations can be made to Brockport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Rabjohns, Doris S., October 26, 2005, at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, William H. Rabjohns Sr. She is survived by her children, William H. (Sandra) Rabjohns Jr., Viona (John) Davis and James (Helen) Rabjohns; her sister, Anna Jane Ballard; brother-in-law, Frederick Rabjohns; her nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Doris was a longtime member of the Ogden Senior Center.

•Riley, Mary E., October 29, 2005 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband, Edson L. Riley and her brother, Robert Flynn. She is survived by her children, Donald (Betty Anne) Riley, Janet (Wesley) DeLap; her grandchildren Michael and Karen Riley, Craig and Dawn DeLap. Mary was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

•Whited, Clark V. PED, Professor Emeritus of SUNY College at Brockport died peacefully at Lakeside Hospital, Brockport, October 29, 2005. At SUNY College at Brockport he served in many capacities during his 37 years. He was chairperson of the Men's Physical Education and Sports Department for seven years, initiated the Sport Science and Sports Management programs and was chairperson of the Sports Management program for two years. He was the chair of the Athletic Committee of Control. In July 2001 the Clark V. Whited baseball-softball complex was named in his honor as he coached varsity baseball for 22 years. Predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Pearl Howland. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Moroney Whited of 43 years; his son, Clark V. (Barbara) Whited II; his daughter Mary Beth (Don) Willey of Houston, Texas; his grand-children, Matthew, Benjamin and Andrew Whited, Karrianna (Marshall) Poe, Amanda and Jacob Willey; his sister-in-law, Josephine Moroney and brother-in-law, Frank Fox and many supportive and loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held November 2 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport. Interment, Lake View Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Clark V. CHURCHVILLE

•Vogt, Vera M., November 1, 2005 at age 89. She was predeceased by her husband Earl J. Vogt and her daughter Judy Phelps. She is survived by her son Charles E. (Gail) Vogt; her grandchildren Cheryl (Terry) Predmore and Aaron Vogt; several nieces and nephews. She was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. and was a member of the Ogden Senior Center and SCOR.

•Wright, George M., October 26, 2005, at age 66. Predeceased by his father Leonard M. Wright and his step-son Michael D. Clasby. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia R. Wright; his mother Neva B. Wright; his children Matthew W.G. Wright of North Carolina and Lisa Jill Wright; his step-daughter Kimberly (Manuel) Flores of California; his step-grandchildren Kainoa, Makoa, Rasika, Keseva and Mahatru; his brother Douglas (Beverly) Wright; his uncle Robert (Marge) Blair; his aunt Frances (Robert) Kamp; nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. George was a Churchville-Chili Elementary School Principal for 34 years.

DiDomenico of Florida; her daughter Lucy (Willard) Sharpe of Spencerport; grandchildren Mark (Chris) DiDomenico, Susan DiDomenico, Karen Hastings, Stephen (Shelley) Sharpe, Michael (Sandy) Sharpe, Elisa (David) Bond and Agnes DiDomenico; sisters Louise Taddonia. Mary Harris and Lucy Marcelletti; 13 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

•Doan, Gladys R., October 30, 2005 at age 96. Predeceased by her husband Elmer J. Doan and her daughter Mary J. Swick. She is survived by her son Edward J. (Judith) Doan of Hamlin; her grandchildren James (Alayne) Doan, Jeanne (Brant) Johnson and Stephen Hessney; son-in-law George (Pat) Swick; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Gladys was a long time member of the Ogden Senior Center.
