Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Baseball 2006

Hamlin Recreation is studying the sponsorship of Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth baseball teams for the 2006 season. This is a travel league playing from May to July. Both players and coaches are needed.

The Cal Ripken Teams are for ages 9-12, divided into two divisions. Each team will play in approximately 16 games, along with playoffs. Games will be played on various nights and weekends, with some doubleheaders.

The two Babe Ruth Teams would be open to ages 13-15 and 16-19. Each team will play approximately 16 games, along with playoffs. Games will be played on various nights and weekends, with some doubleheaders.

If enough community interest is shown tryouts may be scheduled for December or January. Those interested in playing or coaching can contact the office at 964-7222.
